May 2016 President’s Letter
Happy 30th Anniversary to us! On May 16, 1986, the Zonta Club of Denver II was chartered by Zonta International. Between the Club’s start back in 1986 to becoming a 501(c)(3) charity in 2014, a lot has been accomplished: service hours accumulated, and monies raised and donated, international conventions attended, and lots of fun along the way. Let’s plan to share those memories of the last 30 years throughout the rest of 2016 so that we all can remember what a great organization we all have in the Zonta Club of Denver II.
It’s also hard to believe that the 2015-2016 year is almost over. Congratulations to the new officers and directors elected at the April meeting. The installation of the new officers and board members will take place at the May meeting. Please plan to be there to congratulate the new leadership team.
The retreat is planned for June 18, 2015 from 8:30 am to 2 pm at Sharon Faircloth’s home. More information will be announced at the general meeting on May 26, 2016. Please plan to attend!
