Our club won the four-state District 12 award for outstanding service projects in the Denver metro area in 2009 and 2011.
Members sort and redistribute to local charities tens of thousands of new outer garments donated by Imprints Wholesale, Inc.
Members of Zonta clubs from 64 countries come together biennially to learn about and promote the status of women.
Baxter, a trained Freedom Service Dog, entertains golfers at the Zonta Denver II Candy Meininger Memorial Golf Tournament, one of our major fund-raisers.
Early each December, Zonta II members sort and deliver poinsettias and holiday greenery and confections to individual and business clients that support this major fund-raiser.

Thanks for stopping by the Zonta Club of Denver II website. We are a professional women’s organization dedicated to helping other women. As you browse our website, you’ll witness our members’ commitment to making a difference in the lives of individual women in the Denver metro area and across the globe.

What our members say about Zonta II:

My mother belonged to our sponsoring Zonta club, so she gave them my name when they were looking for women to start another club in the Denver area.  Little did I know, what great experiences and relationships would come from working toward the goal of advancing the status of women.  I ended up being the first President.  Today, 26 years later, my commitment to this organization continues to be an important part of my life.  After just returning from my 9th Zonta International Convention, shared with others from the Zonta world, it gives me an appreciation for how much still needs to be done to meet our goal.
Terri, member since 1985

I joined the Zonta Club of Detroit II during the 1980′s as a charter member. When I was transferred to Denver in early 1992, one of the first things I did was investigate Denver area Zonta Clubs. Why? I knew I would find kindred spirits who share my passion for helping to enable women and children, and I also knew I would meet great friends in a new city and state!
Carol, member since 1993

I literally ran into Zonta. Wanting to support women’s charities, I was running a race benefitting Safehouse. In my race packet was a brochure about the Zonta Club of Denver II. It has been the answer to my quest to find an organization to give back to the community and as a bonus, to support international efforts as well.
Jan, member since 1995

I am a member of the Zonta II club because the members are devoted to the issues that I care most about–meeting the needs of women and girls by volunteering with a variety of community organizations. I am continually inspired by the thoughtful and generous women in Zonta II who are tireless in reaching out to women and girls in our community and internationally.
